*cough* So anyway, I somehow managed to get to Laceur and pick up Bowman with only Claude, Rena and Celine in my party XD I didn't manage to pick up Ashton or Opera :< Next playthrough I guess. I still have like, 3 SO1 playthroughs to finish but the Purgatorium Inner Sanctum annoys me XD All the random battles suck when you're already level 80 XD

They have 3 people working on Saturday. 3. Why? because they've let everyone take fucking holiday on the same day! How stupid do you have to be? And why are you now surprised when there is no-one working?!?
And why do you have to ask me to cover when I'll have worked 12 days in a row by them? -_- Ugh. I hate feeling blackmailed to do extra. I want my weekend -_- Because no matter how much I love Squeefest which is next weekend, it isn't the most restful of weekends XD I end up talking until 4am and then getting up at 9 XD

That's terrifying XD I can't remember much about when I was 16 but I know I was very different. LJ has been home for that long and I've met some amazing people because of it and been through a number of fandoms too XD
I will be avoiding looking at my first entries because they were embarrassing as hell XDD I mean, I look back at stuff from a year ago and wonder wtf I was on when I wrote it XD

So I sent my app in! Finally XD After weeks of waffling *facepalm* Ended up apping Cissnei. I came to finish writing the Rise app and just couldn't get it right -_- I couldn't make any of the important bits make sense and couldn't remember what happened when, while the Cissnei app just flowed really well.
*sigh* I feel like a bitch for getting people's hopes up for a Rise though :/ I do want to app her next time though, I really do. I just need to replay the game I think. I nearly ended up giving up and not apping at all I admit ^^;

Seikri turned his head, giving the Maiden a bored look. It made her falter for a moment as she ran towards him, but she soon continued, her voice harsh with anger. "How dare you try to corrupt our people! You're a liar! A servant of evil!"
"Heh," Seikri snorted derisively, turning to face her to give her his full attention. "Fore someone who claims to be a servant of truth, you have a hard time accepting it."
"What you claim to be truth is nothing but honied words of deceit, designed to turn people from god."
Seikri's smile never faltered as he backed her against the wall of the church, leaning over her menacingly. "And your 'truth' is the ravings of a power-mad fool who will do anything to keep your people enslaved to the foul bitch you call goddess."
Her face twisted into a mask of anger at his words and she threw a clumsy punch at him which he caught easily. "You'll bring Her wrath upon all of us with your heretical words!"
Seikri shrugged dismissively. "Probably. She's a vindictive bitch in any aspect."
Her expression changed into one of shock at his casual words. "Don't you care about these people at all? You could doom us all."
"Can't say I do care," Seikri said blandly. "Your people could live or die. I don't give a damn either way."
She gaped at him, open mouthed before sputtering her words out. "Y-you... you're a monster!"
Seikri's smile darkened, turning dangerous. "He cared you see. He came here to help your people. He was a good person like that. He would have made sure that your crops always grew, that you always had fresh water. And you killed him on your altar to a fickle witch who uses her people as pawns."

Uh, has the comment page on Damned bulletin changed for anyone else O_o I'm having a lot of trouble figuring out who is commenting to whom :/
EDIT: Also, Firefox 3 messes up my LJ layout :/ It switches the text boxes over to the left hand side of the screen where the picture should be. Does anyone have a clue how to stop this? Otherwise I'll be permanently downgraded XD

Soma: I would recommend that you avoid associating with him. He's very dangerous.

Soma: But he murdered hundreds of children D: '
Badou: Bad Alle. No treat tonight. Anything else?

Also, I think I caught a nerve in my back today =_= Bent down to pick up a basket of shopping (dog food tins :/) and felt it twinge at the base of my back. It's a bit better now, after I had a lie down on my side for a while, but still hurts a bit. I'm gonna' designate tomorrow at work a 'no lifting or bending over the till' day. I seriously blame the tills -_- All of the taller till staff get back pain when they've used them for a day :/ Everything you do, like getting a bag or putting stuff into the till requires you to bend a tiny amount at the base of the back, which is just where my back hurts.
I know I need to lose a tonne of weight too, but that is being worked on. I lost a stone and a half and I've managed to keep it off for a few months now, which I prefer to losing a lot of weight and then putting it back on XD I've just cut out snacks and stuff really. I let myself have one treat a week (usually chocolate buttons from work because they beat Cadbury's hands down XD) and I'm just not snacking.
I'm hoping I can lose another stone by the time I go to America, but I won't be devastated if I don't.
Also, I think I've found a netbook to buy so that I can take it to the US with me. My laptop is big and clunky unfortunately, and has too much stuff I'd hate to risk, so a little netbook will work well ^^

The roadworks are outside my house now -_- They woke me up at 9am with loud drill things. I am currently operating on about 4 hours sleep because of them and will be going to bed soon -_-
In better news, I finally went to see Star Trek :D Went with my dad and had Ben and Jerry's beforehand ^___^ Yum <3
It was awesome :D I really enjoyed it!! It was just an awesomely entertaining film. I liked the references to the older Trek movies, but I also think they did a good job of not making it too in-jokey which is always a risk with something like this.
...I really really want to cross it over with Star Ocean :3 The image of Kirk flirting with a Klausian woman and getting his ass handed to him in 0.5 seconds is just too amusing.
Oh yeah, I booked my flights to the US last night too ^__^ Anyone want a Britlander for NDK? XD
Unfortunately, my deadness means that RP posting will probably have to wait until tomorrow. Did I have plans with people? I know that there was talk of ice cream with Arty and Badou and Allelujah at some point... And I swear, Argilla will be baffling the people at the manicurists with her permanent nail polish XD

Sister really needs to gtfo back to Manchester already -_- Before I throttle her.
I have my routine at night :/ I settle down with my laptop, have a couple of programmes on TV (I like Stephen Fry :< and specific stuff) while I'm chatting, because I can still listen even if I'm not watching.
My sister, ever since she got home, has been hogging the TV -_- Every day. Like, I'll get home from work and there's about an hour when my mum is usually doing school work, so I'd got into the routine of playing a PS2 game for an hour or so. No chance of that now because my sister wants to watch endless repeats of Scrubs or Friends or whatever else she can find -_-
I wanted to watch Blur at Glastonbury tonight, she refused and put something else on. I wanted Stephen Fry, she got into a bitchfit because I wouldn't let her change the channel to Peep Show (which I hate because it makes me cringe uncomfortably - whenever it comes on I switch the TV off :/). Seriously, she's been in charge of what's on TV all fucking night but the moment I want something on, I'm apparently a selfish bitch who is 'exiling her to her bedroom'.
God, I would kill for some peace and quiet during the evening without her around -_-
Oh, and when she stormed off to bed, she stomped back down to switch the TV off in a 'if I can't watch TV, no-one can!' mood.
I like my nighttime routine :/ Just like I like my bedroom being kept the way it is. I hate it when she borrows my room for friends to stay over because they move things. I can be very territorial when it comes to my space and that drives me crazy, but she just doesn't seem to understand. My clock went missing a couple of years ago while I was away and she'd been using the room, and no-one had touched it except one of her friends, but she refused to believe there was any problem at all, or any reason for me being pissed off that it had been moved (and dumped behind the fucking wardrobe wtf!).
Meh, I'll just listen to music instead.

...which is getting no love on mainstream TV :/ Shame.
Caught 'Personal Affairs' and it's actually really good! I was surprised by how much I like it. It's dark and sexy and funny and has some really interesting characters. It's about a group of PAs in a big banking firm, and one of them goes missing and there's a big mystery surrounding it all. It's only episode 2 and there's already been an attempted robbery of £23million. The women in it are all very smart ladies (I do admit to liking the stereotypical blond being a banking genius XD), and it pokes fun at some of the men.
But yeah, wasn't expecting to like it at all, since it seemed like it would be a lot like, I dunno, Sex and the City with London Bankers or something, or perhaps Footballer's Wives, but it's turning out to be really good!

...I unreservedly loathe and detest every single person featured in this programme. They are the reason why British people are often reviled in Europe. Expats living in Spain who make no effort at all to learn Spanish (except to order booze), who refuse to adapt in any way to the Spanish way of life, who live in closed communities of only ex-pats which sell only English food and English groceries.
And to make it worse, you just know that these are the same people who will bitch about immigrants not making an effort to fit in back in Britain.
*wants to stab them all very badly*
They seriously make me ashamed to come from my country :/

I did something stupid today :/ My sister went out last night, but somehow this morning I totally forgot the fact that she wasn't home. So I uh... went off to work without locking the door *facepalm* I totally thought that she was there and would be able to lock up before she came to work. My mother got a rather embarrassed phonecall from me at lunch time XD
Also, flight websites are mocking me D: I found a flight on STA travel that I wanted for about £250. And it said that all taxes and stuff were included in the price. But when I clicked through, it suddenly decided that actually the tax brought it to over £400 -_- There's a Lufthansa flight for £360 which is reasonable, but I have to change twice to get to Denver. Manchester to Düsseldorf, Düsseldorf to Chicago and Chicago to Denver. Flights are cheaper from Heathrow than Manchester, but I think it would probably cost the same amount to get down there and stay in a hotel for the night as it would to get a slightly pricier flight from Manchester XD

What the hell do flight booking websites find so difficult about the concept that someone might want to get a flight home from a different airport than the one they arrived in?!?! *stabs them* srsly, why are they making this so difficult?
Also, while I'm grumbling, anyone know what Lufthansa are like as an airline? They seem to be the cheapest option.
